PMC crafted this campaign in collaboration with Dr. Stanton Glantz of the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. It focuses unwelcome attention on Hollywood studios, stars and financial backers for their promotion of smoking in films. Using the industry's own publication, Variety, as well as the New York Times, the campaign points out the scientifically demonstrated link between smoking in films and adolescent onset smoking.
